A Valorium Edition of the Entire Extant Works of Thales

Ed Sanders. New York: Fuck You Press, 1964. Side-stapled in wraps. Mimeograph. 8 ½ x 11 in. Four leaves, including covers.

The entire extant works of Thales presented here as a gloriously blank page.

Thales, considered by Aristotle and many others to be the first Greek philosopher, is described by Sanders as "the famous Milesian poet, philosopher, physicist, astronomer, mathematician, cosmologist, Urstoff-freak, absent-minded professor, & madman." None of his writing survives.

Introduction by Aristotle in ancient Greek, without translation, presumably hand-copied by Sanders from the Metaphysics.

Edge toning to wraps; very good. A superb example of the irreverent publishing of Fuck You Press.
